Ischemic Stroke Lesion Segmentation

This AI model detects ischemic stroke regions from MRI scans using Deep Learning.

Project Details

This project was developed for the Artificial Intelligence Course at Taif University.

Model Performance

• Dataset: Trained on the ISLES (Ischemic Stroke Lesion Segmentation) dataset.
• Accuracy: The model achieved a Dice Coefficient score of 89% on the validation set.
• Note: The examples below were taken from the validation set.

How to use it

• The Left image is the original MRI Scan.
• The Right image shows the model prediction.
• The Red Overlay indicates the area where the model detected the ischemic stroke lesion.
